Periodica is an offline educational periodic table. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

1. Summary

  • We do not collect personal data on our servers.
  • The app works offline and does not require an account.
  • Learning progress and favorites stay on your device only.
  • No ads, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.

2. Data stored on your device

Periodica may store the following locally (for example with SwiftData / on-device storage):

  • Favorite elements
  • Recently viewed elements
  • Quiz / flashcard learning statistics (correct / incorrect counts)
  • App preferences such as language and display options

This information never leaves your device unless you use system features you control (for example device backup to iCloud). The developer does not receive that content.

3. Data we do not collect

  • Name, email, phone number, or account credentials
  • Location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking data
  • Crash / usage analytics sent to third parties

4. Children

Periodica is suitable for general audiences, including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because data stays on device and is not uploaded to us, there is no developer-side child profile.

5. Third parties

The app does not embed advertising, analytics, or social login SDKs. Educational element content is bundled inside the app.

6. Changes

If this policy changes (for example if a future version adds optional cloud sync or analytics), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Material changes that involve data collection will also be reflected in App Store privacy labels.
